What is madarosis?
Alopecia refers to the partial or complete loss of eyebrows and eyelashes. It can occur suddenly, but may also develop gradually, and is often caused by an underlying medical condition or health problem. What can cause eyebrow thinning?
Eyebrow thinning often does not occur in isolation, but is accompanied by hair loss in other parts of the body, such as the scalp, which may indicate an underlying health problem. The causes of eyebrow thinning can vary greatly.
